The hybrid turbine combines an 8 foot horizontal axis turbine at the top of the tower with my twin rotor vertical axis venturi turbine that makes up the tower. The vertical axis turbine extracts wind energy from the tower section and it also provides structural support.
The turbine is capable of well over 1500 watts. Will keep posted with actual results
