this is what i did over the holiday…….i lost this turbine to a wind storm a few months ago and have been lazy getting it back up in the air. now it’s boom is 55′ up and has gen4, 11 blade spinning a small treadmill motor. looking for a new generator, maybe around the first of the year.
the tower tilts over by use of a winch. i made up an “outrigger” to help with the raising and lowering of the tower. since i went with 2″ pipe under the boom to the top of the tower i made the outrigger 20′. thanx for watching and happy thanksgiving.
